In Hannover there are 24 museums. Here are 5 of them:
The Historic Museum describes the history of Hannover, from the mid-age settlement "honovere", over the Residence Town, to the world famous Exhibition Town. The museum focusses on the time from 1714 to 1834 when Hanover had a strong relationship to the British royal house.
The Kestner Museum is located in the House of 5.000 windows. The museum is named after August Kestner and exhibits 6,000 years of applied art. With more than 4.000 members the Kestnergesellschaft belongs to the largest art society in Germany. The museum shows exhibitions from the classical modernist art to the contemporary art. One big focus is put on film, video, contemporary music and architecture, room installments and big presentations of contemporary paintings, sculptures and video art.
The Sprengel Museum shows the art of the 20th century. It is one of the most notable art museums in Germany.
The Theatre Museum shows an exhibition of the history of the theatre in Hannover from the 17th century up to now: Opera, concert, drama and ballet. The museum also hosts several touring exhibitions during the year.
The Wilhelm-Busch-Museum is the German museum for caricature and critical graphics. The collection of the works of Wilhelm Busch and the extensive collection of caricatures and critical graphics is unique in Germany. Swimming pool in Porta Westfalica
Both in winter and in summer you can go schwiming and relax.
Enjoy the outdoor pool in summer with the big Chute, the Experience Basin with the Swirl and the beach-volleyball field. You can keep fit in the 25-metre pool with 5 lanes.
There are also diving boards (1 and 3 m) and a 100-metre long chute Fun and Action. You can also eat or drink something in the café.

Minden is very old and there a lot of old sights in Minden. You can say that it’s a tourism centre.
Very interesting in the city is the night watchwoman. In former times a night watchwoman went through the streets and was in attention for the people who sleep. Today you can do a tour with the night watchwoman through the streets of Minden in the evening. She goes through the streets of Minden every night and shows the people her work places.

you can drive into the Sambezi part of the zoo with a boat and you can see giraffes, rhinoceros, turtles and exotic birds.
There are elephant shows several time a day. Two baby elephants were born here in 2003 and the other babies were born in 2005. There are many restaurants from differed countries for example African food, German food etc. For the little children they have many carousels and playgrounds. I want to say you must visit this zoo because it is so beautiful.

Werrepark is a big mall. In Werrepark you can buy everything: clothes, shoes, jewels and much more! You can have so much fun at it! After the shopping tour you can go to the cinema. There are so many interesting films, for example: - I´m Legend - Kein Ohr Hasen - P.S. I love You - Bee movie ... Prices are from 5 € to 8 €.

Go out in Hannover
Go out in Hannover: 
If you are in Hannover you can go to discos for example “Discothek Agostea”, or another big disco is “Disco Euro”, where you can hear black music or hip hop and they offer longdrinks for 1€.
Hannover has also a lot of cocktail bars for example “Bolero” or “Escenario”.
Hannover has a big cinema “Cinemaxx”- there you can learn German :) .
Hannover at night is worth seeing, too and for free.
